VX-1 is a simple, plug-and-play speakerphone with four uni-directional mics.

The challenge of this project was to use form to highlight the direction and location of mics yet maintain a round form factor, as requested by the client. The solution was to create a mesh that spread out in four directions. In addition to giving an otherwise flat surface depth, the pattern also highlights the direction of each microphone.
